The Force '84 Blue lost in penalty kicks in the State Cup semi-finals. The following year, we added two boys U10 teams (Force '90 blue and black), for a total of four teams. The Force '84 Blue team, again lost in penalty kicks in the Semi-Finals of the U16 State Cup, and also finished second in the San Diego Surf Cup. The Force Blue, boys U10 team, won the "unofficial" U10 State Cup, held in Santa Rosa. In 2001-2 we added eight new teams, spanning U9 to U12 levels for boys and girls, and two U17 girls teams. The U11 '90 Boys lost in the State Cup quarterfinals, and the U17 Force '84 Blue Girls lost 2-1 in the State Cup Final to eventual National Champion, Pleasanton Rage. Though, the Force '84 Blue brought the Force Club its first Surf Cup Championship. In 2002-3, the club grew to 13 boys and girls teams. Six out of the seven eligible state cup teams advanced out of the first round of State Cup. The Force '84 black girls team won the U19 State Cup. This was the Club's first State Cup championship.
