| General Description: | About the Team: The Adirondack Lynx will be returning in 2007 to defend their first place finish in the East-North Division. During their inaugural campaign in 2006 the team finished the regular season with a record of 7-3. In order to clinch the divisional title the Lynx had to knock off the #19 (at the time) team in the world, New England Mutiny and the current #14 team (2006 WPSL Champions), Long Island Fury. The Lynx season came to an end in the Eastern Conference Finals that were held at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, NY. The Lynx will be representing upstate NY in the WPSL. The team is scheduled to play its home matches at the National Soccer Hall of Fame (Oneonta, NY), Skidmore College (Saratoga Springs, NY), and the Golden Goal Tournament Park (Lake George, NY). About the Coaching: PJ Motsiff will continue to take on the responsibilities of general manager and head coach in 2007. In 2006, Motsiff helped lead Adirondack to the Eastern Conference Finals and a Divisional Title in only the teams first year in the WPSL. He holds a national coaching license through the NSCAA. Motsiff is currently the Director of Soccer for the Golden Goal Soccer Tournament. Golden Goal is a week long, all-inclusive, Olympic style soccer tournament being held in upstate NY near Lake George. Motsiff is currently the men's assistant coach at Skidmore College. Previously he has coached at the State University of New York at Cortland and The College of Saint Rose. He has also coached high school level teams for Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, and Hoosick Falls. While he was at Ballston Spa he was a 3 time finalist for coach of the year honors.
