| General Description: | Queen City FC, Inc. has been created and designed for the purpose of raising the quality and quantity of soccer-related opportunities for children and young adults who are interested in pursuing a career in the sport (i.e. playing, coaching, managing, marketing, officiating, etc.). We are dedicated to operating a comprehensive training program that fosters and develops each aspect of an individual’s total soccer potential. Furthermore, Queen City FC, Inc. and our investors believe that through our carefully structured soccer programs, we can contribute significantly to our participants’ development of valuable skills that will have benefits throughout their career and life. There are four separate, but interconnected branches that make up Queen City FC, Inc. The National Premier Soccer League Men's Team and the Women's Premier Soccer League Team (coming 2009). The Youth Academy in partnership with Youth Clubs from Canada and the United States Year Round Camps and Clinics Program The Buffalo Soccer Initiative, our community outreach program. Each of these branches has a mission specific to their program but designed to work in conjunction with one another towards a common goal set out by the entire corporation. The Men's and Women's League Teams: This will be the highlight of our organization and will provide national exposure through North America’s top amateur soccer league (National Premier Soccer League) and name recognition to help substantiate the rest Queen City FC’s involvements. Queen City FC, Inc. strongly believes that the core of our Men's Amateur team and the primary source for its players will be our carefully researched and designed Youth Academy. The Youth Academy: The Queen City FC Youth Academy Partnership Program. This program takes our professional coaching staff and lets regional youth clubs benefit from their expertise. QCFC coaches all follow the same coaching model, so coaching will be along the same line even if the trainer is different. The Camps and Clinics: In an effort to maximize the potential of the Buffalo and Western New York soccer market, we have organized and will be offering a series of progressive coaching camps and clinics beginning in the summer and continuing throughout the year. These camps will have a dual function; to supplement our youth academy training and provide important scouting opportunities to identify top local players, and also to help smaller clubs and beginning players develop their skills and gain more insight into the game. BSI Community Outreach Program: Our marketing plan involves a series of community outreach programs that will be conducted both in the City of Buffalo and in the surrounding suburbs to garner grass roots support and respect for our commitment to the goals we have set out to accomplish. Working with New York State certified teachers; Buffalo Soccer Initiative has designed a unique educational soccer curriculum that combines thoughtful soccer training sessions with inter-related academically based life skills classes to help provide opportunities to inner city children. This curriculum can be adapted to fit the goals of any community based agency that we become involved with. The program will be designed to intertwine an after school soccer program with structured learning activities. The goal is to introduce the benefits and potential for success that can be attained through continued involvement in soccer in conjunction with dedication to academic pursuits. The curriculum will consist of a mixture of prevention programs, such as drug, alcohol, and firearm awareness seminars as well as increasing children’s individual understanding of soccer. We will work closely with school principals and administrators as well as our own group of educators to provide a comprehensive program that will increase awareness and strengthen the character of our younger members of society. This branch of our corporation will be beneficial not only to the community but will give our NPSL players, whom will be required to participate in a pre-determined amount of community service, important experience in mentoring and leadership. Queen City FC strives to provide a wide range of soccer-related services to an interconnected group of people which we project will result in the ability to foster good citizens and provide the capital necessary to operate as a successful corporation. The flagship of our program and its primary objective will be to create and operate a successful National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) team, with a long-term goal of winning a NPSL championship. For prospective sponsors, our NPSL team will provide access to high profile advertising space and an attentive audience to whom they can market their product. Those who choose to invest in our corporation will have their names associated with our extensive community outreach program, our youth soccer academies which include various levels of camps and clinics, and every other branch of Queen City FC. The over-arching aim of our corporation is to increase the capacity of the Western New York area to develop larger numbers of more talented soccer players and provide them with a link to play in Major League Soccer (MLS) or United Soccer Leagues (USL) Professional Leagues. With a far-reaching umbrella of services, Queen City FC will bring a unique combination of community enhancement programs, access to high level soccer coaching, profitable advertising opportunities for local businesses and an exciting showcase for locally developed soccer players. |
