| Background: | Experience: 2007: Became the youngest Head Coach ever in the history of NJCAA Division I (Colby Community College). Took over the program on May, with only 3 returning players. In just two months (June-July), I recruited 8 players. o That group included the Right-Side from the Puerto Rico Junior National Team (Paloma Alvarez), the libero for the PR High School National Champions, and a Brazilian member of the Beach Volleyball National Team. With only three weeks of practice before the season started, we began with a record of 10-4 in the best Conference of NJCAA Division I, where three out of the six teams are nationally ranked every year (including powerhouses Barton County Community College and Hutchinson Community College). The team finished 20-18, playing with four freshmen in the starting lineup. From that team, sophomore captain Vicmari Prospero earned All-Region & All-Conference honors, along with freshman Paloma Alvarez. Sophomore setter Daryl Rodriguez was the #1 setter in the nation in Assists since the first week of the season. Prospero have had offers from Division I schools like Florida International University, Long Island University, Hawaii Pacific from Division II. Rodriguez is being recruited by Missouri State University, Long Island University, & NAIA top school Kansas Wesleyan University. Freshman Alvarez is also being recruited by top Division I schools like Indiana University and Division II Hawaii Pacific. Created my own computer Practice & Stat Program, which compares with the helping tools supplied by advanced programs like Data Volley, in a much more friendly-use way. Organized more than 70 hours of Community Service activities, from which multiple donations were granted to the program as a result of our commitment. Became a member of the AVCA. 2006 / 2005 Assistant Coach for Colby Community College (Kansas). In just one season (2006-2007), the team got 2nd in the Conference, and 3rd in the Region. Individually, there was a Region MVP & 1st All Conference Team (Ana Kokanovic), a 2nd All Conference Team (Cynthia Danthon), an Honorable Mention (Kori Tagtmayer), and a nominee for Rookie of the Year (Vicmari Prospero). Concerning stats, Kokanovic was in the top 3 nation leaders in kills, in the top 20 in aces, and in the top 50 in digs. Danthon was in the top 5 in kills, and top 20 in digs. Tagtmayer was in the top 50 in digs, as well as rookie sensation Prospero. Also, Brandi Bertrand was in the top 50 in blocks, and both setters (Milica Micovic & Daryl Rodriguez) were in the top 40 in assists.
