Wim moved with his twin brother Tom to the U.S. and both attended Fairleigh Dickinsoin in D1 for three years. Both left before their senior year to become professional in Belgium. Wim did sign with Sunair Oostende coming out but hardly played. Did sign with Estaimpuis/Doornik the following year and blossomed tremendously having two seasons in double digits. After the bankruptcy of the team, Wim signed with Power/Wevelgem where he had a decent season because the team was out of balance the entire season. Wim is a proven outside shooter with unlimited range and a very good technique. Is able to put in on the floor as well and can play one-on-one because of that. Became a member of the Belgian National team 2 years ago. Used to be a PF but became a true SF throughout his European career. Improved dramatically in defense as well. has a good attitude, is very coachable and would like to play outside of Belgium in a stable situation.
