Shaun Sowerby (born 1 July 1978) is a South African rugby union footballer. He plays for Stade Français Paris in the top French rugby competition, the Top 14. Prior to playing for Stade Français Paris, he was with the Sharks in South Africa.

His usual position is as a number 8. Sowerby also captained the Sharks in south africa for one year in 2003 which was their 2rd worst finish in super rugby. He also played for the national South African team, Springboks, making his debut in a game against Samoa.
