The passion is the extra element in his playing qualities. Grown up in Athens, his father is from Kreta and his mother from Spain.
Started as a forward in the academies of Doxa Vironas and joined the first team very quickly. The team had many experienced players and went on loan in Marko.
Came back soon and in his first mach against Ehtnikos the post denied him his first goal.
After two good seasons he joined Athinaikos - sharing the same ground with Doxa - and was one of the best during the promotion season.
Regular in National A also, became target of many teams from the summer of 2001.
He played all positions, except goalkeeper. But the one that fits him is right wing.
