Scott joined Livingston during the close season of 2001 as a full timer playing at under 18 and under 21 level.He was a schoolboy international and has been selected to join the Scottish under 19 squad at Inverclyde.
Scott had been attached to St Johnstone FC for five years, playing for the under 18’s and under 21’s with one first team appearance under his belt. He played for Scotland under 18’s schoolboys - year 2000-2001 - playing against New Zealand, England, Northern Ireland and Wales achieving 4 shut-outs in a row - a new Scotland record. He also was Captain of thePerth High School under 18 team which went on to win the Schools Scottish Cup Final at Hampden in May 2001.
