My position is central midfielder; I also can play more defensive midfielder or more attacking midfielder (playmaker).

Strengths: (for this point I say what I have heard what coaches say about me). Team player; height is one of my advantages which help me win a header ball; good thinking player, one of my best skills is seeing field very well, making quick decision with a ball and high quality of pass at any distance which lets me play as a playmaker. Aggressive play in defense, good sliding tackling.

I started out as a hockey player for Ukrainian team named Druzhba 78. In 2000 went to play football to USA and played there for youth teams until 2002. Than i came back to Ukraine and continue to play for Metallist Kharkov youth team. After i finished my school i played for Metallist-2 team then i moved up to reserve team. The season 2005/2006 we ended up 2nd in tournament of reserves in whole Ukraine.(Dynamo Kiev was in 1st place). I played 7 games that year. All season i trained with the first Metallist Kharkov team (highest league). As i have been told i made very good impression on head coach of Metallist team Miron Markevich. In summer of 2006 i have been asked to go for try outs to Auxerre football club (France). As David Bernard (head coach of reserve of Auxerre) told me that i am high level player as a lot of players of Auxerre reserves. But i had a contract at that time with football club Metallist Kharkov. That’s why i went back Ukraine. My contract with Metallist ends February 1st 2007. Why i don’t want to continue my career in Ukraine is because i cant get use to mentality. I had good experience living and playing in USA and also some experience in Europe (Auxerre). And i understood for my self, Europe is where i want to play.
I know 2 languages, English and Russian (Ukrainian).
